I have spent my life obsessed with faces. Long before I picked up a camera, I was a traditional artist, learning to translate soul onto paper with nothing but a pencil. That foundation is the heartbeat of EightFive Studios. It’s why I don’t believe in decent shots. I believe in the honor of the face you have.
My professional journey began in the high intensity camera houses of New York City and Washington, D.C. For fifteen years, I mastered the technical 'ins and outs' of the industry from the ground up, transitioning from selling the gear to mastering it. Today, I combine that technical precision with a genuine curiosity to see people as they truly are.
Whether I am working with an actor on their defining headshot or an executive commanding their brand, my mission is the same: to find the core of your personality within a single exposure and help you fall in love with the person you are.
When I’m not in the studio, my creativity doesn't stop. I find the same creativity and dedication in the kitchen as I do on a photo set. I’m a firm believer that the most complicated recipes, like the most nuanced portraits, require time and obsession to get just right. Whether I'm composing music, practicing guitar and piano, or searching for the perfect fried chicken, I am a student of art and creativity.
